I can't help but notice the increasing number of T.V. shows that use prep school fashion. First came Gossip Girl, then came along a line of Disney channel versions including Jonas and Sonny With a Chance. But why? I guess that's why Ralph Lauren sells clothes in the first place. No one can resist the simplicity of a structured, clean-cut shirt paired with an interesting tie and a plaid skirt. It gives you style, class, and status. It has undeniably become an increased trend over the past few years. And if you ask me, it all started out with Britney Spears and her "...Baby one more time" video.
