Maise stemed from Claire Greaves (who used to work for Top Shop) in 2006. It's named after childhood nickname. At first, she strived to create a solid signature denim line. Now she is branching out with a wide range of denim styles and has been featured in US Nylon, Marie Claire, In Style, and Russh.
The brand started in Australia but is becoming popular in America. Merchandise can be found in select boutiques in New York, California, and Maryland. The Autumn/Winter collection, "Eerie Indiana," was derived from horror movies like "The Birds" and "Halloween."
