Guess goes hard-edge rocker

I'm a big fan of Guess, especially their swim wear and tees. Their new clothes this season are...a bit different though. I don't know if I like it or not? It's kind of Ed Hardy-esque. But where is the luxury and signature Guess sleekness? I have to admit that there are a lot of trendy pieces, but I'm not liking the graphic tees or printed stuff.

Here are my favorites:

Also, I would like to mention the Dana-Maxx Fall/Winter collection. It's called "Sex, Love, and Heartbreak" in honor of its form-fitting and head-turning looks. They are for bold women who fashion-forward, feminine, and glam. Dana-Maxx Pomerantz, the women behind this line, began her career working with Betsey Johnson and Marc Jacobs before branching out on her own.

The line is described as:

"fueled by the emotions brought on by love gained and love lost...focuses on the trials and tribulations of life and love and are seen in edgy details such as a black cross, tinseled genuine leather and a chained broken heart...ultra-sexy, rebellious, sophisticated and feminine"

To view her lookbooks for Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer, click here. To visit the Dana-Maxx website, click here. Her collection will be sold from sizes 2-12 at select boutiques around the nation. Also, she has a customer event coming in the fall to NYC!
